Mission
Atelier Jolie wants to join others in their effort to democratize the fashion industry, allowing the customer to have access to a collective of sustainable emerging designers and master artisans. There will also be an inclusive online resource for finding garment makers, making use of curated dead stock and vintage materials to create one-of-a-kind pieces that embody personal creativity and purpose.
Artistry & Tailoring
Tailoring is all together defined by the art of designing, cutting, fitting and finishing clothes. The profession of tailoring dates back to the early Middle Ages in Europe. The trade of tailoring was taught by a traditional apprentice education in workshops. We are reviving the history and offering to everyone globally.
We are scouting the world to build a collective of high-level members in each of their own skills. Ranging from, but not limited to embroiderers, cutters, patternmakers, sewers, designers and artisans.
Punk culture
The punk subculture includes a diverse and widely known array of ideologies, fashion, and other forms of expression, visual art, dance, literature, and film. Largely characterized by anti-establishment views, the promotion of individual freedom, and DIY ethics, the culture originated from punk rock.
We are asking customers to be creative and push their limits and discover their own identity. We are providing the tools and knowledge in an elevated presentation and visual educational content.
