Utilize only existing materials - vintage, deadstock in the design elements of its clothing. Focus on perfecting the fit and creating heirloom quality garments with meaning. Repair or upcycle garments from within the Atelier or when a client wants to revive a piece from their closet. Breathing new life of what could have been thrown away.

Diversity and inclusion are a priority for the Atelier staffing. We make space for the underserved communities who have great skills and will add to the creative work culture of the Atelier. We are curating a team with positions of dignity based on their talent while offering living wages, apprenticeships, and health benefits to all in-house staff.

Lifting the veil
Expose the people behind the creation of clothing and acknowledge them for their craft. Spotlighting the entities that played a part in each creation that comes out of the Atelier, including the client. As we partner with global artisans and creators our mission is to share the richness of their cultural heritage and support the development of their own businesses.
The deadstock fabrics & Upcycled vintage
The fabrics will be from a range of sources. Primarily partnering with luxury brands to receive their leftover fabrics as a donation. Other partnerships will be built with luxury, novelty and vintage fabric suppliers to receive their materials at a discounted rate.
All fabrics will have pricing included and can work into a variety a variety of budgets. All materials available in the atelier will be of the highest quality and from the most reputable sources. Providing traceability and accountability through sharing the provenance of its inventory of materials.
